Job offer Description

Purpose of the position:
Reporting to the HR Advisor, the HR Officer carries out recruitment-related tasks for positions to be filled for all sites. He/she evaluates and adapts strategies according to results and changing needs; pre-selects candidates, conducts interviews. The person drafts and publishes job offers, selects candidates, welcomes new staff, and evaluates results in collaboration with managers. The agent collaborates in the analysis of needs and the search for solutions for the Human Resources department, and participates actively in the implementation of changes/updates. The person must ensure that the call-back list (substitution) is kept up to date. He or she must update staffing databases in collaboration with the Human Resources Assistant and prepare letters of attestation of employment or refusal.

Desired qualifications:
– Degree in human resources management, industrial relations or related discipline
– CHRP/CRIA professional designation (asset)
– 1 year experience in human resources or related field
– Fluency in spoken and written French
– Functional level of English
– Intermediate level of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Good knowledge of social networks
– Knowledge of application management system (asset)
– Knowledge of Day Force software (asset)

Work schedule: Full-time 4 days/week (30 hours) Tuesday to Friday
Contract position: until June 28, 2024, with possibility of on-call duty
Compensation: between $29.25 and $32.94 per hour plus a wage subsidy.
Salary scale position will be determined according to experience.
Start date: November 2023
Workplace: Telecommuting and central office, 1344 prom. 2nd floor, Unit 9
